When I think about communication in academic life, some examples quickly come to my mind. When in debate class, a student needs to know the adequate words and structures to express ideas, as well as methods by which ideas are dispersed. When presentations, students develop their soft skills; by developing effective methods to teach one another.
According to Zekery, and Baba (2014); college students are expected to demonstrate achievements in communication skills, once they get into the workforce.
