What role has writing played in my life?

I have many passions in life, and one of them is writing. I learned how to write in English when I was fourteen years old. I did not feel comfortable with my level until I finished my second semester of college. However, I had to write many papers, letters, and translate things before then.

When I was eighteen, I worked for a Dental and Medical clinic as the office manager. The clinic was located in North Mexico, where medical tourism was born. As many patients did not speak Spanish, I was the most qualified for the position, although I was a high school graduate. Being able to help patients and doctors communicating, opened the doors for me. As the only bilingual employee, I translated multiple files, texts, and advertisement.

Writing made a great impact in my life, even before I felt confident. Now I can appreciate the beauty in it. I see it as a way of self expression and art.
